1.The children visiting a Language training course at "D. Voynikov" Community center competed in English in a quiz named "This is the start of Bulgaria"

2.Students from the Shomen University had nature painting.

3.The 25th anniversary addition celebrating the opening of the monument was issued. It is available at the information center of the complex.

4.The complex also offers new 15 minute commercial movie of "Trima" Studio with interviews of the authors.

5.In the City Hall on 4.12.2006 there was a performance named "Touching the Roots" and dedicated to the 25th anniversary since the opening of the monument. Official guests were Mr Krasimir Kostov � Governor of the city, Veselin Zlatev � Mayor of the city, the main atchitect of the monument � Krum Damyanov, the executives of the mosaics Rusi Dundakov, Krasimir Atanasov, Ivo Genchovski, main figures in the city life like georgi Nachev, Yovcho Gospodinov, Aleksander Uzunov and Milan Kolev. The guests had the chance to go back in the years and remember details of "Asparough" Movie and the impessive words "This is the land I have chosen for the Bulgarians�" One of the performed impressions had the text of a winner from a competition from ten years ago. Today its author Elisaveta Vasileva works in "Reifeisen Bank" in Sofia. The ceremony finished with fragments of "Simeon" Movie and "Battle Row near Bosphorus", performed by the brass band of "St. Chilingirov" Community center.

The ceremonial retreat was an essential part of the jovial mood. Prof. Krum Damyanov saw for a first time the monument lit in the three colours of our national flag.

6.On 17.12.2006 the whole team of the monument together with the journalists from Shumen Radio and Trima Studio patiently were counting every single visitor of the monument till reaching the necessary figure. At 11.45 the Monument Of the founders of the Bulgarian State met its 2 100 000 visitor. After the information given the group was invited on a glass of wine and Kalin Yordanov, 30 year old man from Varna, an officer for Information Services LTD, Varna received his honorary diploma, flowers and many presents, prepared by the hosts. All the tourists could see the documentary for the monument, also a 3-minute impression of the light show named �This is the start of Bulgaria� from 30.09. 2006. The excited visitor number 2 100 000 wrote in the memory book the following: "The history has its heights and fallings, but there will be always history", and his colleagues completed "On a place like this we are proud to be Bulgarians"
